The expected power of this car would be shown in the capacity of the engine to produce up to 245 horsepower and to use up to 369 lb-ft of torque. The acceleration rate of the model is also very satisfactory since this car would be able to reach up to 62 miles per hour in about 8.4 seconds. The maximum speed of this plug-in hybrid is expected to be about 130 mph.
The output of power of the electric engine would be equal to 124 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engine options would be paired with the tiptronic transmission which would have eight speeds. It is reported that the manufacturer would pay great attention to fuel efficiency, and this is why it is speculated that the fuel consumption of this car is about 107 mpg, with significantly reduced air pollution. If a potential owner decides to drive only by using an electric motor, he/she would be able to drive for about 50 kilometers. The used battery is a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, and the charging time is estimated at eight hours.
2017 Audi A6L e-tron Release Date, Price
The official presentation of the 2017 Audi A6L e-tron plug-in hybrid to the world market happened during the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show this March. The release date for sales is expected to occur during the middle of 2016. Even though the sedan was officially presented, there are not any data regarding its price, neither for the base nor for upgraded models, but our bet is that it won’t be cheap.
