Engine, Performance, Specs
The next big thing, 2016 Nissan GT-R, will be heavily packed. And just like other brands, the Japanese automaker has decided that the future of its high performance is electricity. As a matter of fact, report show that the upcoming GT-R will have an insane horsepower of 800+. However, it is likely to be one that is battery based. Given the fact that these leaders in battery technology are partnering with Williams Formula 1, it is expected to be a mega hybrid.
The most amazing story however will be its torque. No figures are available yet but going with the benefits that a hybrid system has on performance, the torque curve will flatten and the figure will be out of this world. Thanks to its horsepower, experts predict that the car that the 2016 Nissan GT-R will have the ability to hit the 100 km/h (~62 mph) mark in about 2.7 seconds, with its top speed being about 340 km/h.
