The front wheels are driven through the six speed automatic transmission. In a combination with an electric motor, the hybrid system can produce a total of 285 hp and 471 lb-ft of twist. Gentle driving or careful driving allows the customer to drive 100 km with just 1.8 liters in hybrid mode. The car posses three modes of driving and they are: Eco, Power and Hybrid mode, which is default. There are three kinds of batteries used in this model 10A, 6A, 16A where charging these batteries takes place 3.5 hours to 7.5 hours at home or other regular charging places.
2015 V60 PHEV R-Design Price
The new 2015 Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid R-Design is already available. It’s starting price in European market is £51,675, which is somewhere between $83,800 and $84,000 at the current rates. The U.S. release date is still not known, but this model is sure popular in Europe.
