As you can notice from the photos, it comes with the brand-new headlights and LED daytime lamps surrounded by silver accent, giving it appealing look. Honda has also introduced new and more classy side mirrors. Other items that are new are 18-inch wheels made of alloy, front grille, tailgate-mounted long taillights, new underlying skid plates and bumper. All of this give it a stylish fresh look and makes it stand out as an exceptional vehicle. The Honda CR-V 2015 is available in the following Pearl and Metallic colors: Copper Sunset, Basque Red II, Crystal Black, Obsidian Blue, White Diamond, Alabaster Silver, Urban Titanium, Mountain Air, Modern Steel, Kona Coffee.
Inside, the 2015 Honda CR-V now looks more sporty, covered in premium materials, and it comes with a keyless passive entry system. It includes a center console design that can easily be configured to meet owners requirements. Honda Link gives the car automated collision notifications, weather notifications and traffic reports. You can also access Facebook and Twitter trough the use of AHA radio technology. For music lovers, the sound isolation design helps make the SUV even more quieter. There is now more space making it more comfortable, and the storage area has been increased as well.
Engine, Specs and Performance
A 2.4L direct-injection Inline-4 engine with Earth Dreams Technology, first of its kind, is installed in the new CR-V. It provides 185 horsepower with an additional torque of 181 pound-feet. It has a better continuous variable transmission under the hood with a G-shift design, which provides an even more natural sound than ever before. This new engine is lighter and more fuel efficient. Obviously you need to drive the new 2015 Honda CR-V to get a real feel of its performance. However, there are performance features that stand out. The throttle inputs are much better compared to earlier models, and this is one of the best parts of the CVT technology. In Sports Mode it goes from 0 to 60 mph in about 8.8 seconds.
Fuel Economy Ratings
The 2015 Honda CR-V has shown increased fuel efficiency due to its front-wheel drive system and CVT gearbox. The SUV has a city rating of 23-27 mpg. Its highway rates however are 31-34 mpg, while on combined cycle it is rated at 29 mpg. The fuel economy of AWD models is rated at 26/33/28 miles per gallon city/highway/combined. This means greater fuel mileage than previous models and hence it is easier on the pocket.
