The 2015 Ferrari F60 America is a limited edition open-top supercar that comes with a revised body design, but keeps the performance of the original model. Only 10 units will be built.
Exterior and Interior Design
As you can probably notice, the 2015 Ferrari F60 America is based on the 2013 F12 Berlinetta, but it has been heavily modified. First, there is no roof. Then, the front grille and hood are replaced by more aggressive elements. The front end actually looks like a smiling face. The grille is slightly more curved, while the hood now has two air vents instead of one. The headlights on the front are also different.
The rear end comes with the new diffuser, more pronounced rear bumper with four exhaust tips, two on each side, additional air vents above them, larger taillights and sporty rear spoiler. Of course, because the roof and rear window have been removed, Ferrari added roll hoops which extend to the spoiler. Yes, you can add a light fabric top, but it can be used only at speeds up to 75 mph (~120 km/h).
Interior of the 2015 Ferrari F60 America also received a fresh new styling. What we find interesting is that the driver’s bucket seat is covered in red leather, while the passenger’s seat is wrapped in black leather. And not just that, the driver’s part of the dashboard, center console, left door panel, part of the steering wheel and area behind the seat are painted in red. As you can see in the picture below, it looks great. There’s also a stripe on the both seats featuring an American flag motif.
Engine, Specs, Performance
Under the hood of the 2015 Ferrari F60 America is the same 6.3-liter V-12 gasoline engine that can produce an astounding 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, sending all of its power to the rear axle and allowing the car to reach the speed of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds. Its estimated top speed is about 210 mph (~338 km/h).
